Hello Little League Players & Families,
On behalf of the Mercer Island Little League Board, welcome to the start of the 2022 baseball and softball season! We are so excited to have player pitch games underway and minor league teams starting their games after Spring Break! We’re looking forward to another fun filled season!
Whether your player is returning or this is his or her first season, thank you for choosing to be a part of the Little League program on Mercer Island. We are fortunate to have strong support from the community and a great group of coaches and parent volunteers committed to providing our ball players a wonderful experience.
This year our Board has been focused on ensuring that the Little League values of character, teamwork and sportsmanship are front and center and exemplified in all that we, our coaches, and our players do throughout the season. We are committed to emphasizing the inclusion of all players of all abilities and promoting a supportive and positive team environment as coaches and teammates. We have highlighted these objectives for our coaches and volunteers. We welcome and encourage feedback on these focal points – as well as any other part of your Little League experience. We are excited to announce that our "Little League Day" is BACK!
May 7th
South Mercer Playfields
The day will start off with a Home Run Derby for ages 10-14 on South Mercer 1 starting at 8:30am. The parade of teams will begin at 10:30am. Fun activities for all the teams in the program! Home Run Meals will be sold after the ceremony!
