We offer little league programs for players who want to continue playing little league after Majors, including those in high school.
Juniors
Juniors is a level of Little League for 13-14 year-olds. Juniors plays on a 60/90 field size (60’6’’ pitching rubber, 90’ bases) for All Stars and the smaller 54/80 for regular season. This team will practice and play games at Island Crest Park where our High School baseball teams play. The Juniors team will play in a league with other District 9 teams. Schedule is built by District 9 based on field availability provided by each team. As with other levels of Little League, players are eligible to compete in end-of-the-season tournaments and All-Stars.
Last year, MILL fielded one Juniors team that won the District 9 tournament, the Washington State tournament and was a finalist in the Western Regional tournament in Bend, OR. Read our news story here.
Seniors
Seniors baseball plays on a full size baseball diamond (60’6’’ pitching rubber, 90’ bases). As with other levels of Little League, players are eligible to compete in end-of-the-season tournaments and All-Stars. In 2023, Mercer Island fielded a Seniors team. If we don't have enough players to field a team again, your child will be encouraged and directed to join an off-island team on the Eastside. We will know more about the 2024 season after registration and during the first two practices.
