Come celebrate all our Little League Players with a parade of teams and Opening Day Ceremony!  Our Opening Day Ceremony will start promptly at 11am. All players should be with their team at the designated location (see attached map) no later than 10:50am. There will be a designated lane at South Mercer Fields Parking Lot for drop off ONLY. 

Timeline for the Event:

10:35am - families can drop off their Little League Player at South Mercer Fields parking lot designated lane for drop off. 

11:00 AM - Teams will parade into SM3 through the 3rd Base Dugout. Parade through Homeplate and 1 st Base and line up in an arc in the outfield with all the other LL teams. Once all teams are in place in the outfield, we will begin the ceremony. 

11:18 AM Welcome to all players and families 

11:20 AM VFW Color Guard Flag Presentation 

11:22 AM National Anthem 

11:25 AM Guest Speaker 

11:30 AM Team & Individual prizes given away including Mariners tickets, fun prizes, and pizza for one lucky team! 

11:40 AM Ceremonial First Pitch 

11:45 AM Home Run Lunch at concession stand!

*Note:  Homerun Derby for AAA players and above begins at 9am.

Drop off and Parking Info:

Attention all families attending the event: To streamline your experience, we’re offering a designated drop-off lane in the South Mercer Field Parking Lot. Players will convene with their teams at the designated location on SMP E (soccer south), just outside South Mercer 3. 

Please Note: Parking will be extremely limited on April 27th, with NO PARKING available at Islander Middle School (due to an event). We strongly encourage families to consider alternative transportation options. You can walk to the fields, park at Lakeridge back lot, or utilize legal street parking adjacent to the South Mercer Fields. For added convince, a SHUTTLE SERVICE from the Boys & Girls Club will be available. Let’s ensure everyone can easily access the event and enjoy the day.
